Review changes before saving or restoring

Review the current drawing

M switches between canvas and Summary. Connections shows endpoints; Nodes groups device cards; Edges, Flags, and Talks offer entity previews. Filter labels narrows the list. Click a preview to return to the canvas and inspect the item. See [ Summary lists and entity previews ].

Compare versions

Diff compares the current project with its saved baseline. Projects > Compare with file... compares two files without merging them. Split shows before and after previews; Change details lists properties not necessarily visible in the drawing. No displayed differences is not a guarantee of byte-for-byte equality. See [ Diff and change details ] and [ Compare two project files ].

Restore deliberately

History lets you review a snapshot before restoring it. The comparison runs from CURRENT to TARGET, and branches are preserved until retention pruning. Autosave recovery is a separate workflow in Projects. Review which side or snapshot you are opening, then save recovered work. See [ Review and restore a history snapshot ] and [ Autosave preview and recovery ].
