Redline

Crossings and jumps

Distinguish crossing lines from connected ports and adjust jump presentation.

Purpose

A jump marks a crossing so intersecting routes are not mistaken for a junction. Two lines crossing on the grid do not create a connection. Real connectivity is defined by the edge's endpoint ports.

Use

Select a step carrying a jump. Toggle jump priority changes which crossing takes priority; Toggle jump handled changes its handled state; Flip jump reverses the jump's presentation. These are drawing controls, not commands for splitting cables or adding a junction. Review the visible crossing after changes and after route regeneration. See [ Route steps and subgrid points ] and [ Connections ].
