Diff and change details

Read added, removed, and modified entities against a saved or selected version.

Use

Summary > Diff compares the saved baseline with the current project. File comparisons and history confirmations reuse the change viewer with their own before/after versions. Split and Single change preview layout; Larger and Smaller change preview height. Filter changes searches context, property names, and old/new displayed values. Expand Change details for individual property changes.

Interpretation

Previews cannot show every metadata property, such as user fields. Details can show text, colors, and route-step counts even when geometry looks similar. No displayed differences means the explanatory diff has no rows, not a complete project-equality or file-identity assertion. A diff does not merge, save, or restore by itself.
