Hold action wheel

Choose context-sensitive create, edit, or read actions under the pointer.

Use

Hold Left Alt with the pointer inside the canvas. If entities overlap, choose the entity context first. Move up for Create, left for Edit, or down for Read; move farther to choose among the available options. Release the held key to commit. Left-click cancels the active wheel.

Available contexts

On a page, Create offers Talk, Node, and Back; on a node, it offers Port Left and Port Right. Edit on a node opens Label or Slug in Inspector; Edit on a page opens page properties. Read offers related Nodes, Edges, and Flags in Summary. The Delete direction has no implemented delete option; use the normal Delete selection action instead.
