Port properties and drawn order

Edit connector metadata and local side, offset, or visual position.

Use

Select a port and inspect Label. Port metadata contains Subtext, slug, and User fields. Side: Left (switch) or Side: Right (switch) moves its occurrence to the other device side. Offset adjusts placement; Move up and Move down reorder siblings on the same side.

Distinguish orders

The inspector's port number identifies its place in the physical numbering order. Moving a port visually is not a replacement for arranging the saved cable-numbering sequence. Use Cable numbering order or Cable labels > Ordering for that sequence. Geometry edits can affect connected routes.
