Review and restore a history snapshot

Inspect CURRENT-to-TARGET changes before choosing a revision to restore.

Use

View > History or Ctrl+H opens Project history. The tree shows snapshot labels, parent relationships, CURRENT, redo path, and branch counts. Choose a snapshot to review its changes. The confirmation compares CURRENT to TARGET; Confirm restores the target and Cancel leaves the current drawing unchanged.

Effect

Restore selects a revision; it does not delete all branches. Snapshots are maintained locally and may also be embedded in the save file when enabled. Finish active edits before reviewing another revision. Retention may prune snapshots, including alternate branches. See [ Diff and change details ], [ Undo history retention limits ], and [ Save or clear embedded undo history ].
