Choose frontmatter content type

Decide whether a box uses shared text, per-page text, or an image.

Use

Select a box's Content tab and choose Shared text, Page text, or Image. Shared text has one project-wide text value, though tokens expand for each page. Page text stores independent values for different pages. Image has shared artwork with optional page-specific overrides.

Caveats

Content type belongs to the shared box definition, not just the currently selected page. Switching type changes how every page uses that box; it is not a way to make one page's box disappear. Use page text for local notes, image hiding for a local image omission, or frontmatter visibility for the whole band.
