Flagged connections
Replace a continuous line with paired endpoint callouts while preserving connectivity.
Use
Select an edge and choose Add flags. Its paired flags and leads represent the same connected ports without requiring a continuous route across the drawing. Select a flag to edit Position, Size, Color, and shape. Circle, Triangle left, Triangle right, Rectangle, and Square are the available shape buttons.
Labels and return
Flag text can identify the remote device and port or present the cable slug, depending on flag style. Shape styles use a single size; the text-rectangle presentation has two dimensions. Expand Connection to edit its owning edge. Make normal edge returns to continuous presentation. Moving a flag changes its lead geometry, not the endpoint identity. See [ Connection labels and endpoint offsets ] and [ Move and resize drawing objects ].
