Connection color rules and overrides

Color connections by groups or assign an explicit color to selected cables.

Use

Colors in Cable labels shows source and destination IDs and ports, cable ID, Color, and endpoint/cable groups. Search connections narrows the list. Select connections to color them, click a row's color for an individual override, or click a group in the table to work with group rules. The color picker provides palette and custom choices.

Priority and future cables

Group rules apply to future matching connections too; the last matching group rule wins. An individual override takes precedence over rule-derived color. Clear override allows rules to apply again. The edge Inspector's Custom edge color is another route to an explicit override. Coloring does not assign cable groups or alter endpoint connectivity.
