Compose reusable devices, ports, connections, annotations, and backgrounds.

Blueprint draft workspace

Use

A blueprint is a reusable drawing piece. The draft workspace has its own canvas and Inspector. Blueprint name names it. Add node and Add background create draft objects; Add blueprint browses sources to combine into the draft. Focus fits the draft selection. Device and port controls edit the selected draft node. See [ Create a device draft ] and [ Edit ports in a device draft ].

Finish and fork

Save to library stores the draft. Save and place saves it and begins placing it in the open project. Fork selection starts from selected project content or lets you choose a source when needed. Cancel closes the draft; it does not roll back an already saved library item. Library saves and canvas placements are distinct actions. See [ Browse saved blueprints and project nodes ] and [ Place copied or reusable drawing content ].
