Systems and sheets

A Redline drawing showing microphones, DSP, control equipment, and video codecs connected by routed cables
An example system drawing. The exact controls depend on your release.

Devices and ports

A node is a drawing occurrence of a physical device. Ports represent the device's connection points. Repeated occurrences can share physical-device metadata.

Connections and cables

Edges connect ports. Their routed paths explain how the system fits together, while cable labels identify the physical connection. Flags let a connection continue elsewhere without drawing a long continuous route.

Sheets

Use sheets to organize the infinite canvas into deliverable pages. Sheet names describe the drawing; device and cable labels describe the system.

Reusable drawings

Blueprints capture reusable groups of equipment and connections. Keep recurring assemblies consistent rather than redrawing them from scratch.
