Page names, slugs, and density

Edit a page's identity and grid scale separately from the project's paper format.

Use

Select a page through its page control or the Inspector page list. Name and slug belong to the page. Page grid > Squares per cm changes density: 1x is one grid square per centimeter, or 10 mm per square; 2x is two per centimeter, or 5 mm per square. Project paper format applies to every page, while density is edited per page.

Output and deletion

Page name and slug can appear through frontmatter tokens. Show/hide frontmatter and its editor control the page's information band. Delete page and contents is destructive and removes page content, not just its outline. Layout changes can be rejected when overflow or destination objects would conflict. See [ Generated frontmatter fields ], [ Delete a page and its contents ], and [ Resolve blocked page layout changes ].
