Compare two project files

Review LEFT and RIGHT versions without editing or merging either file.

Use

Select a project in Projects, choose Compare with file..., and pick another .wpr. The comparison identifies LEFT and RIGHT paths. Split displays paired previews; Single shows a combined presentation. Larger and Smaller adjust preview height. Filter changes searches context, properties, and displayed values.

Effect

The comparison is read-only. Open LEFT project or Open RIGHT project loads that side; recovery comparisons label these choices Recover LEFT copy and Recover RIGHT copy. There is no automatic merge. Use Change details for properties that are invisible in a canvas preview. See [ Diff and change details ] and [ Unsaved work and closing ].
