Page-specific frontmatter text

Write separate revision notes or information for each page in the same shared box.

Use

Choose Page text for the box. Select a page in Pages and edit Text for this page. Only that page's text changes; other pages retain their own values. Switch pages to author and review each value. Rich-text formatting and the supported token buttons also work here.

Effect and caveats

A page with no value can have empty text in this box. The box's name, order, relative weight, and appearance remain shared across pages. Changing the box to another content type affects the shared definition, not just one note.
