Cable labels workspace

Navigate Groups, Ordering, Auto Increment, Manual, Label placement, and Colors.

Use

Open View > Cable labels or the Summary Cable labels tab. The workflow sidebar offers 1. Groups, 2. Ordering, 3. Auto Increment, Manual, Label placement, and Colors. Continue buttons advance after grouping, ordering, and successful numbering. Search controls narrow the current stage, not the whole drawing.

Which stage?

Use [ Create and assign cable groups ] for classification, [ Physical cable numbering order ] for the saved physical sequence, [ Preview and apply automatic cable numbering ] for proposals, [ Manually edit cable labels ] for authored values, [ Place cable labels and subtext ] for text geometry, and [ Connection color rules and overrides ] for color rules. Switching stages does not turn display sorting into a physical ordering change.
