Organize a drawing across pages
Plan page regions, page names, paper size, and the drawing grid.
Build the page layout
Pages are output regions on an infinite canvas. Open Inspector with nothing selected and use + Add page. With existing pages, choose a blue strip beside a page to add an adjacent page. Place devices within the intended page and use page names to distinguish rooms or systems. See [ Add pages next to existing pages ] and [ Page names, slugs, and density ].
Choose paper and scale
Project Settings supplies paper presets and Portrait for the whole project. Apply page settings commits the change. Each page's Squares per cm controls its grid density. Check crowded pages and free-canvas objects before enlarging or compacting pages; layout operations reject overlaps rather than silently moving conflicting objects. See [ Paper format and portrait orientation ] and [ Compact the page layout ].
Prepare output
Frontmatter uses page-specific names, slugs, notes, and images inside a shared box layout. Keep drawing objects clear of the frontmatter band. Export can use all pages or a numbered subset; free-canvas content is not automatically an extra export page. Use [ Export a selection as one fitted page ] for a fitted selection.
