FPS and history-memory diagnostics
Display rendering speed and history memory information without changing project output.
Use
User Preferences > Debug offers Show FPS and Show history memory tally. FPS displays frame-rate information for the running interface. History memory reports history cost for diagnostic review. These preferences are local to the user.
Interpretation
Diagnostic readouts do not resize the drawing, renumber cables, or become printed frontmatter. History retention can still prune snapshots when limits are reached; the current entry is retained. A low FPS value is a performance observation, not proof that the project file is invalid. See [ Undo history retention limits ] and [ Interface appearance and layout ].
