Draw your first system
Create devices, add ports, connect them, and save an editable project.
Start with devices
Create a project from Projects. Use Create New or N to open a device draft. Give the device a Name and ID prefix, add left or right ports, and enter their labels. Save and place stores the blueprint and gives you a placement preview; click the canvas to place it. Repeat for the second device. See [ Create a device draft ] and [ Place copied or reusable drawing content ].
Connect and describe
Click one port and then the other, or drag from one port to the other. Warwick draws a connection between them. Select an object and open Inspector to edit its properties. Add cable identifiers through [ Number cables without losing authored labels ], and arrange the drawing with [ Move and resize drawing objects ].
Keep and share
Save creates an editable .wpr project. Export produces a document or image, not a substitute for the project file. Name your page, configure [ Make a title block with frontmatter ], then use [ Export a drawing for delivery ]. Authoring requires a current license; [ Viewer mode and authoring access ] can open and export existing projects.
