Make a title block with frontmatter

Combine shared company information, generated page fields, and page-specific notes.

Make a title block with frontmatter

Choose a page and band

Open Edit > Frontmatter and choose a page in Pages. Enable Show frontmatter and choose Left side, Right side, Top, or Bottom. Shared band thickness sets the normal band size; Override thickness on this page allows a local size. See [ Frontmatter visibility, side, and thickness ].

Compose boxes

Choose an existing box or + Add box. Name it, select Content, then choose Shared text, Page text, or Image. Shared text suits company information; Page text suits revision notes. Token buttons append Project name, Page name, Page slug, or Date. See [ Add, name, reorder, and remove frontmatter boxes ], [ Shared frontmatter text ], [ Page-specific frontmatter text ], and [ Generated frontmatter fields ].

Check every sheet

Appearance is shared across all pages, even when content is page-specific. Images can have page overrides or be hidden on an individual page. Inspect each page and export with Include frontmatter enabled. Relative height divides the available band space; on a top or bottom band it divides width instead. See [ Frontmatter box size, spacing, and alignment ] and [ Shared and page-specific frontmatter images ].
