Edit ports in a device draft

Add, duplicate, remove, reorder, or bulk-create labeled ports.

Individual ports

In the draft, + Left and + Right add ports. Select a port row to edit Port label and Port details: side, Subtext, ID prefix, and ID value. Duplicate copies the selected port; Remove deletes it. Move up and Move down change the visual order on its side. Port metadata and numbering order are separate concerns.

Bulk entry and shortcuts

Expand Add multiple ports, enter Labels (one per line), choose Right side if required, and click Add ports. In the blueprint workspace, Ctrl+Enter adds a port, Ctrl+Shift+D duplicates a selected port, and Alt+Up or Alt+Down reorders it. These shortcuts need the relevant selected draft node or port; they are not canvas-wide connection commands. See [ Customize keyboard shortcuts ].
