Customize keyboard shortcuts

Search actions, capture a new chord, unbind conflicts, or restore defaults.

Use

Open User Preferences > Keyboard shortcuts. Find action searches action names and groups. Click a binding, then press the new combination. Unbind frees an action's chord. Default restores an individual action; Stop ends capture; Restore all defaults clears custom bindings. Changes are saved for the user.

Context and conflicts

Conflicting bindings are rejected; unbind the other action before reusing a chord. Actions are scoped to canvas, summary, blueprint, dialogs, or project hub as appropriate. Text fields and focused controls retain editing and navigation keys. An unavailable action is not made available merely by remapping it. Default bindings in this help may differ from your settings.
