Manually edit cable labels

Search cables and reservations and author their group, separator, or number directly.

Use

Select Manual in Cable labels. Search nodes, ports or labels narrows the table. Source ID, Source label, Destination ID, and Destination label identify the connection; Group, Separator, and Number / value edit its slug. Swap sides reverses a cable and Focus returns attention to its drawing.

Effect

Manual values are authored labels. Automatic numbering keeps them fixed unless Renumber existing labels is enabled. Reservations also appear here with an unused-port description; they cannot swap an absent destination. Manual slug edits do not relocate printed text. Use [ Place cable labels and subtext ] for text position and [ Resolve numbering group conflicts ] for group resolution.
