Resolve blocked page layout changes

Understand overflow, destination conflicts, invalid paper dimensions, and busy edits.

Geometry conflicts

If Warwick reports overflow, move objects inside a page or clear of its former area before moving pages. Destination-area and destination-content errors mean objects occupy space needed by the proposed layout. An enlarged page area must be clear of free-canvas objects. Reposition those objects and retry Apply page settings or Compact pages.

Other checks

Finish active editing before changing pages. Paper dimensions must be from 10 to 5000 mm, density from 0.1x to 10x, and each page must fit at least one whole grid square on both axes. These checks prevent an invalid layout; they are not warnings that a partial resize succeeded. See [ Paper format and portrait orientation ] and [ Compact the page layout ].
